known as JAI Allison LLC and JAI Adams Allison Inc., Allison-Ide has a history of over 27 years of successful
projects in Hawaii.
Allison-Ide completes an average
of 150 projects per year. Founders John S. Allison and Brian M.
Ide have more than twenty years of experience and are complemented by a
staff of experienced design professionals.
Allison-Ide has excelled in the design of post tensioned concrete
structures, and the simplification of potentially complicated structural
systems through close collaboration with developers, architects, and
contractors. A significant number of the firm’s recent projects have been
delivered through the design-build process. The firm offers a full range of
structural engineering services encompassing all types of new building
construction as well as building renovations, repairs, and value
engineering services. Also offered are due diligence investigation and
expert witness services.
Engineering Expertise
Allison-Ide encompasses a wide variety of structural design of
high-rise, mid-rise, low-rise, and specialty structures for commercial, residential,
hospitality, entertainment, educational, medical, recreational, and
scientific uses. From our roots as a local consulting firm in Hawaii, we have expanded our geographic scope to
include major projects on the mainland USA,
South America, Europe, and Asia.
