Project
Description: |
- State of
the art newspaper production and distribution facilityconsisting
of a multi-story press bay and press support facility, administrative
offices, and a large high bay warehouse containing paper storage
and mailroom facilities.
Gross floor area of project approximately 150,000 square feet.
The multistory press bay, press support facilties, and administrative
facilities are framed in structural steel. The large high bay
"warehouse" attached to the press facility is framed
with long span open web joist and joist girders. The ground level
exterior walls consist of precast concrete panels.
Project located in Kapolei, Oahu, Hawaii.
Construction Cost of $25 million with project completion in Spring
2004.
